Discussing the topic with children

Practical part of the lesson

It consists of three stages.

Bouquet sketch

The teacher hands out album sheets, suggests placing them vertically in front of you and starting to sketch flowers for mom. The tulip has an oblong bud, so you need to draw three uneven ovals with a simple pencil at the top of the leaf. If it is difficult for your child to do this, you can invite him to circle the finished template. Then draw the petals at the top of the bud, carefully erase the excess lines with an eraser so as not to damage the paper.

Development of mental abilities and intelligence

The teacher helps the children draw pencil lines for the stems from the buds down so that they intersect at the bottom to form a bouquet. Then you need to add long leaves to each stem, outlining elongated arcs on the side with a pencil.

Important! The teacher should check each child's drawing for accuracy, make sure that the flowers are located in the upper part, the stems intersect at one point, the leaves are elongated, and if necessary, make edits with your own hand so that the sketch looks compositionally correct.

Drawing a bouquet

The teacher talks to the children about the rules of working with paints, how to hold a brush, and remove excess water. It should remind you that tulips come in red shades. The student should be taught to put red or crimson paint on a brush and carefully paint over the plant without going beyond the outline. The middle tulip needs to be highlighted with a different tone of paint. You can take a darker burgundy color and draw flower petals.

Then you should rinse the brush and take a dark green color, draw the middle line of the stem and paint on each elongated leaf. You need to apply the paint thickly, do not smudge it too much with water, and make sure it doesn’t spread. The teacher must monitor the correct performance of the work, help overcome difficulties that arise, and use napkins if there is a lot of water in the drawing.

Note! You need to make sure that the child touches the paper with the bristles of the brush, and not with a wooden stick, and squeezes the brush out of the water on the edge of the jar.

When the bouquet is ready, you can decorate it with ribbons, numbers and adding mimosa.

As an option, you can beautifully tie a bouquet of tulips with a ribbon. Children can choose the color of the future bow themselves. You need to draw an uneven square at the bottom, at the intersection of the stems, and next to it on the right and left, draw two triangles, rounding the edges. This way you will get a beautiful bow. From below you need to draw two curved lines with a brush, similar to ribbons.

If children want to add a sprig of mimosa to the bouquet, they can take a cotton swab, soak it in water, dip it in yellow paint and place several round prints near each tulip at the top. These little yellow circles will resemble mimosa flowers.

Of course, this time is wonderful not only with wonderful weather and the awakening of nature, but also with Women's Day. Yes, we are talking about March 8th! It is this holiday, like no other, that we associate with flowers and the smell of mimosa. On this day, everyone makes gifts for girls, wives, mothers and grandmothers. Children especially try hard on this holiday. They often wonder: how to draw a picture for March 8? Not only kids, but also schoolchildren, students, and employees of institutions who want to draw a wall newspaper are puzzled by this. It’s difficult to come up with a postcard design yourself, and a purchased printing house cannot serve as an example for this. That’s why I decided to use my own experience to show options for drawing holiday cards for Women’s Day. Let's start with a postcard for the most important person in our lives.

How to draw a picture for March 8th for mom?

It’s not for nothing that they say that the best gift from a child is a gift made with their own hands. And drawing this gift with our step-by-step lesson will not be at all difficult.

Before you begin, we recommend that you look at our articles on drawing flowers, roses and even mimosa! This way you can decide for yourself which flower you want to draw in your composition.

What you will need:

• a simple pencil;
• a sheet of paper (any size or a watercolor sheet if you paint with appropriate paints);
• eraser;
• colored pencils/gouache or watercolors.

Personally, I decided to draw a postcard on a watercolor sheet, since its structure is quite rigid and painting the picture with delicate watercolors would be a good solution.

1. What is the best drawing for mom to draw on March 8? Of course there have to be some pretty flowers in it. And perhaps even those that mom loves. But, if it’s difficult to draw your favorite flowers, then you can draw any flowers, because mom still appreciates the attention. Take a sheet of paper and start by drawing a sheet of paper with a congratulation in which the flowers will be wrapped.
2. In the corners of the sheet we draw small curls, as if it is trying to wrap itself into a roll on both sides. We do this by following the example in Figure 2. Now on this very piece of paper we mark ourselves with small stripes of lines on which we will write congratulations. These strips are bent in the same shape as our drawn sheet of paper. To make it easy to draw the number 8, we must mark its shape in the same way as in the figure. So far our figure seems square.

3. Now that we have outlined a place for ourselves where to write the words and have drawn the “skeleton” of the eight, we can circle our number and begin to write words beautifully. If it is difficult to write letters of the same height, you should draw a line at the top of the main line so that the height of the letters is the same.
4. You must draw a picture for the eighth of March with flowers. I decided to depict tulips, but for this I need to draw an approximate area where they will be located. This is easy to do with the help of such ovals as in Figure 4.

5. Now we draw petals in place of these ovals. They may not be even, but this way they will look more natural. Follow the example in Figure 5.
6. Draw thin stems and leaves. It is very convenient that tulips do not have a complex leaf shape at all. I colored my drawing like this, but you can do it to your taste using colored pencils, watercolors or gouache.

How to draw a picture for Grandma on March 8th

Grandmother is one of the main culprits of Women's Day, because it is she who raises a double generation - children and grandchildren. Therefore, she also needs to give her a worthy gift, and in our case, draw!

1. This time we place the sheet horizontally and mark the shape of a figure eight, as in Figure 1. You can immediately mark the lines on which you need to write congratulations. These will be two lines on top of the 8 and our number itself is on the third line, where it will be written “From March 8.”
2. We will have flowers drawn on the side of the number. Let's mark their buds with circles, we do this so that all the flowers fit on the leaf.

3. It won’t be at all difficult for a child to draw a beautiful picture for March 8 if you draw simple flowers. I tried to draw flowers in the form of daisies, only their petals look more pointed.
4. Now we erase our auxiliary lines for the flowers and draw a bow at the bottom that will “hold” the stems.

5. Now we lead all the stems and leaves straight through this bow. It helps us make the shape of the bottom of the bouquet more accurate.
6. At this stage, we connect the shape marks of our number 8 with lines and draw it. Inside the “hole” this number can be drawn in different ways, but a more simplified version is shown here.

7. We are writing congratulations for grandma. There may be more lines and more words. Remember: an illustration is only an example that you can improve with personal examples.
8. This drawing is also an example of how you can draw a picture for March 8 with a pencil. But personally, I prefer to still add color to the card.

The last example that I would like to show you is a postcard for March 8th. This example will be useful for those who draw a wall newspaper and for people who like a creative approach in congratulations.

1. We take a sheet of paper and horizontally place such an oblique square in it. In our case, this is a torn sheet of the calendar.
2. We can turn its bottom a little to make the composition look more elegant.

3. We wipe away the extra lines in place of the folded sheet. We mark the outlines of the number 8 with short stripes and draw a small line at the bottom so that the word “Martha” is written as evenly as possible.
4. We connect all the lines of the number 8 and finish drawing it. We write our word below.

5. When we draw a picture on the theme of March 8, we should think about beautiful details. That is why I propose to decorate the corner of our sheet a little with patterns.
6. It's time to start working on the flowers. To do this, we, as always, mark their location with circles like these.
7. In these circles we draw flowers for every taste.
8. And now we begin to draw beautiful patterned stems and leaves. Here you can also arrange the composition as your imagination dictates, or you can follow the example in Figure 8.
9. The last traditional stage is coloring.
