The selection of toys is closely related to the tasks of the aesthetic and moral education of the child, with his aspirations for collective play, in which he uses all the toys together with other children. For three-year-old children, toys are needed that would allow, as accurately as possible, to depict life situations close to them. Therefore, if you bought a doll, then there should be a bed for it, a chair, a table, and a cup from which the child can “drink” tea to it. All toys that a child uses in plot-observation play must be similar to real objects and correlated with one another in size in accordance with their life prototypes. It is advisable that an adult introduce new toys into the game. It interests the child in the plot of the joint game and encourages him to “communicate” with the new toy.

The game develops and pleases the child, makes him happy. In the game, the child makes his first discoveries and experiences moments of inspiration. The game develops his imagination, fantasy, and, consequently, creates the ground for the formation of an initiative, inquisitive personality. Play for a child is a sure remedy for idleness, which leads to lethargy and aimlessness of behavior. For a good, fun game, a child needs a good toy. Choose it wisely for your child.

For children from one to three years old, you can choose toy dishes, plasticine, mosaics or washable paints.

For children over three years old, drawing tools are suitable, such as a board and crayons, paints and felt-tip pens; you can also buy various educational sets. An almost win-win option is dolls with accessories, soldiers and cars, as well as toys in the shape of animals or cartoon characters. Older children, after the age of six, will be interested in radio-controlled car models, complex small construction sets, dolls and realistic accessories, board games, puzzles, machine guns, pistols, military figures, and noise-making musical instruments.

Toys that promote motor activity

A sports corner is the first thing a one-year-old baby should have. This could be a regular wall bars with mats at the bottom, or it could be an age-appropriate complex - for example, Early Start. However, it should be taken into account that by itself it is unlikely to attract a child - you need to work with your baby regularly, developing an individual set of exercises (this is not difficult to do, there is enough information in thematic books and on the Internet). A balance bike or a wheelchair that you can sit on is another toy that a child needs at this age.

At the same time, it is important that he can reach the floor with his feet - there are low models on sale. Of course, it will not last up to 3 years, but it will be relevant “here and now”.

A car, a butterfly or any other figure on a stick. which can be rolled both at home and on the street - a banal, but simply necessary toy for a child aged 1-2 years. At first glance, it may seem that it is devoid of any developmental meaning - in fact, this is not so. It is by trying to “catch up” with her that the child improves his motor skills.

A horse ride is a wonderful toy that will encourage your baby to be active. At first he will passively ride on it, then he will climb on horseback and do everything on his own. At the same time, it is important to follow safety precautions and monitor the baby without disturbing him.

Consumer rights

The buyer has the right to exchange a non-food product of proper quality for a similar product from the seller from whom this product was purchased, if the product does not suit the shape, dimensions, style, color, size or configuration. This requirement also applies to children's toys, according to Art. 25 of the Law of the Russian Federation “On the Protection of Consumer Rights”. You can change a non-food product of good quality within 14 days, not counting the day of purchase.

But it is worth remembering that the exception is electronic toys and non-periodical publications for children, such as books, brochures, albums, cartographic and musical publications, sheet art publications, calendars, booklets, publications reproduced on technical media of appropriate quality. These types of goods are not subject to return or exchange.

If, after purchase, you discover shortcomings in the toy you have chosen, then you, as a consumer, have the right:

demand that the toy be replaced with a similar one (of the same model or article);
demand replacement with the same product of another brand (model, article) with a corresponding recalculation of the purchase price;
demand a proportionate reduction in price (cost of the toy);
demand immediate and free elimination of defects in the goods or reimbursement of costs for their correction by the consumer or a third party;
refuse to fulfill the purchase and sale agreement and demand the return of the amount paid for the goods, that is, at the request of the seller and at his expense, the consumer must return the goods with defects, and the consumer has the right to demand full compensation for losses.
