Introductory speech by a psychologist (10 min)
: It is well known that the teaching profession is one of the most energy-intensive.
Its implementation requires enormous intellectual, emotional and mental costs. In recent years, the problem of preserving the mental health of teachers has become especially relevant. The modern world dictates its own rules: the demands from parents on the personality of the teacher and his role in the educational process have increased. Transformations in the education system also raise the bar: a creative approach to work, innovation, project activities, and pedagogical technologies are encouraged. Not only does the academic workload increase, but along with it the neuropsychic stress of the individual and overwork also increases. Various types of overload are aggravated by numerous fears: fear of being abandoned, not finding support; fear of being unprofessional; fear of control. This situation quickly leads to emotional exhaustion of teachers, known as “emotional burnout syndrome.” “Emotionally burnt out” teachers are characterized by increased anxiety and aggressiveness, categoricalness and strict self-censorship. These manifestations significantly limit creativity and freedom, professional growth, and the desire for self-improvement. As a result, the teacher’s personality undergoes a number of deformations such as inflexibility of thinking, excessive straightforwardness, instructive manner of speaking, excessive explanations, thought patterns, and authoritarianism. The teacher becomes a kind of “walking encyclopedia”: he knows what is needed, how it is needed, when, why and how, and how it will all end. But at the same time, he becomes absolutely closed and impervious to any innovations and changes. Emotional burnout is a kind of psychological defense mechanism developed by the individual in the form of complete or partial exclusion of emotions in response to traumatic influences. The professional activities of teachers are replete with factors that provoke emotional burnout: high emotional load, a huge number of emotional factors, the daily and hourly need for empathy, sympathy, responsibility for the lives and health of children. In addition, teaching teams are, as a rule, same-sex, and this is an additional source of conflict. As a result, the teacher becomes a hostage to the situation of emotional burnout, a prisoner of stereotypes of emotional and professional behavior. As in any organized group, in this lesson we need to develop rules that we will all adhere to in group work. Please suggest your options for the rules that we need today. (Participants speak out; if they did not say any of the rules below, then the psychologist offers it to the participants): Rules of training work.
1. Rule of activity.
2. Rule of non-judgment. 3. Naming rule. 1. Exercise “Let's get to know each other better” (5-10 min) Task: introducing the group members, including them in the work
Everyone stands in a circle.
Everyone names their name and one positive and negative quality of their character, which begin with the same letter as the name. Psychologist
: Every person should be able to relax, especially teachers.
Sometimes we don't know how to help ourselves, but now we will help each other. 2. Exercise “Washing machine” (10 min) Task: group unity;
developing a sense of trust; relieving mental stress. All participants stand in two lines facing each other.
The first person becomes a “machine”, the last person becomes a “dryer”. Each person with his eyes closed walks between the ranks, everyone washes him of negativity, strokes him, carefully and carefully wipes him. The "dryer" should dry it out - hug it. Those who have passed the “wash” become a “dryer”; the next “machine” comes from the beginning of the line. Reflection:
What feelings did you experience during the exercise?
Did you feel that the accumulated negativity was “washed away” from you? Psychologist
: One of the common stereotypes of everyday mental hygiene is the idea that the best way to relax and recover is through our hobbies, favorite activities, and hobbies.
Their number is usually limited, since most people have no more than 1-2 hobbies. Many of these activities require special conditions, time or the state of the person himself. However, there are many other opportunities to relax and recuperate. 3. Exercise “Pleasure” (10-15 min) Objective: familiarization with various ways to combat emotional burnout Material: A5 sheets for each participant, pens
Training participants are asked to write down 5 types of daily activities that bring them pleasure.
Then it is proposed to rank them according to the degree of pleasure. Discuss what was written in pairs. Psychologist
: Everything that we have written down are resources that can be used as “first aid” to restore strength.
Now I suggest you pair up with a person as unfamiliar to you as possible and share your methods, enrich each other with them. 4. Exercise “Australian rain” (5 min) Objective: relieve emotional stress, increase group dynamics
Do you know what Australian rain is?
Let's listen together to what he is like. Now in a circle in a chain you will convey my movements. As soon as they get back to me, I will pass on the next ones. The wind picked up in Australia. (rubbing palms). It starts to rain. (Clicking fingers). The rain is getting heavier. (Clapping on the chest). A real downpour begins. (Clap on thighs). And here comes the hail - a real storm. (Stamping feet). But what is it? The storm subsides. (Clap on thighs). The rain is subsiding. (Clapping on the chest). Rare drops fall to the ground. (Clicking fingers). The quiet rustle of the wind. (rubbing palms). Sun! (Hands up). Psychologist
: Sometimes we carry large and small burdens within us that prevent us from living fully and take a lot of strength.
I want to show you how easy it is to get yourself in order. Let's think about why a person needs a trash can and why it needs to be constantly emptied. Imagine life without such a bucket: when garbage gradually fills the room, it becomes impossible to breathe, move, and people begin to get sick. The same thing happens with feelings - each of us accumulates feelings, for example, resentment, fear, anger. 5. Exercise “Bucket of Garbage” (10-15 min) Task: liberation from negative feelings and emotions Materials: exercise forms, pens, box for “garbage”.
I invite everyone to throw old unnecessary grievances, anger, and fear into the trash can.
To do this, write down your negative feelings on pieces of paper. After this, the teachers tear their pieces of paper into pieces and throw them into a bucket, where they are all mixed and thrown away. Reflection:
How did you feel during the exercise?
How did your condition change after all the negativity was torn up and thrown away? 6. Exercise “Living Labyrinth” (10 min) Objective: relieving emotional tension, increasing group dynamics
Participants stand in a circle and stretch their arms forward.
After this, each participant must take the other person’s hand with his hand. You cannot take your neighbor’s hand or connect with the same person with both hands. After everyone has joined hands, the group must unravel into a round dance. Reflection:
What were the difficulties in performing the exercise?
How did you deal with them? Psychologist
: As you can see, even such confusion can be unraveled if you act intelligently and show care and compassion.

Exercise “Positive” (10 min) Task: creating a positive emotional mood, a friendly attitude towards each other among group members Materials: A5 sheets, pens
Everyone signs their first and last name on the sheet.
Then we give the piece of paper to the neighbor on the left, and he writes good words, a wish, a compliment to this person. No need to subscribe. Then everyone reads the notes on their pieces of paper. Reflection:
Were you pleased to read what was written about yourself?
Did you learn something new, unexpected about yourself? Psychologist
: This exercise works in a special way: we will not use it to ask others for compliments and wishes, but we can become the one who gives them.
After all, we know what a pleasant effect they can produce. Our training is coming to an end, and I would like to leave you with a legacy for the future and a pleasant mark on your soul. 8. “Box of Wishes” (10 min) Task: creating a positive emotional mood, completing the training Materials: box with a deck of metaphorical associative cards “Keepers of the Garden”
It’s no secret that, probably, everything that happens to us is not accident.
Let's use this in the finishing work. This box contains cards with various tips and wishes. I invite each participant to take out a card from the box, on which a little advice will be written that will show you the path to your well-being. Reflection:
Read what you got and give a little feedback - what is it about for you?
Final sharing (15-20 minutes).
Each participant is given the floor (about 2-3 minutes). There are 3 questions: 1. How do I feel now? 2. What did I learn today? 3. What kind of person do I want to be tomorrow?
