The Tale of the Little Ladybug and the Missing Specks

Fairy tale

Once upon a time there lived a Little Ladybug in a sunny meadow, and she was so forgetful, carefree... No matter what she was asked, she forgot about everything, was distracted, did not care and did not help. Her mother will send her grandparents to visit, and she will look at the chamomile meadow, doze off on the flower, and wake up when it gets dark and fly home, forgetting about her mother’s request and about her relatives. The only thing she did not forget about was to admire herself and her back, bright red with black spots, in the mirror every morning.

And then one morning Mom says to Little Ladybug: “Tonight we will have guests, we need to treat them with something. Therefore, you need to fly to grandma bee and take some flower honey from her. Just don’t forget under any circumstances, don’t get too carried away, don’t get distracted by anything.” “I won’t forget, mom,” answered Little Ladybug.

And the mother, knowing her daughter, decided to tell her a legend about how naughty, forgetful and uncaring ladybugs lose spots on their backs. But Little Ladybug interrupted her mother and did not let her finish the story, saying: “I told you I won’t forget...” and flew away.

All the way Little Ladybug repeated to herself: “We must not forget, we must not forget, we must not forget...”, but suddenly she met her friends who were playing tag, flying from leaf to flower, from flower to blade of grass. They invited Little Ladybug to play with them. She thought: “What could happen if I play for half an hour…”, she agreed and started playing. When the sun began to set behind the horizon, all the girlfriends scattered to their homes, and Little Ladybug remembered that she had to remember something, but she never remembered.

She flew home when it was already dark, the guests had left without being treated to the flower honey. Mom was very upset and offended by Little Ladybug, and when she went to bed, she took red paint and painted over all the black spots on Little Ladybug’s back to teach her a lesson.

The next morning, Little Ladybug went up to the mirror and froze: her back was all red, there was not a single black spot on it. She was confused, upset, sad, and then completely cried, because she loved her spots so much and treasured them so much. And then she remembered the legend that her mother told her the day before and how she interrupted her and did not listen to the end. She was very ashamed and she never dared to approach her mother and find out how the legend ended and how she could get her spots back. Little Ladybug put on her black polka dot raincoat and left the room.

On this day, my mother asked me to fly to the garden where her dad was grazing aphids, take him something to eat and pick up a jar of milk. Little Ladybug silently agreed, smiled through force, pretended that nothing had happened and flew to her dad. On the way she met her friends again, but refused to play with them, flying past a chamomile meadow she didn’t even look at the flowers, and when she arrived in the garden she didn’t play with aphids, but immediately flew up to her dad, fed him, chatted, took the milk and went home to mom. She was very tired from such a long journey and when she arrived home she immediately lay down and fell asleep. Mom felt sorry for Little Ladybug, because she fulfilled today’s request and wiped off the paint from one spot.

Morning Little Ladybug woke up, sadly walked up to the mirror and a smile immediately appeared on her face - there was a bright black spot on her back! She put on her raincoat and joyfully ran to her mother. “Mom, mom - how can I help you?” - Little Ladybug asked without waiting for requests. On this day, her mother asked her to simply collect nectar from peonies growing nearby. Little Ladybug flew out of the house at that very second, she collected full buckets of nectar in a couple of hours and barely brought them home - the mother was very happy and surprised, and when her daughter told her that she also helped the neighbor’s daughter on the peony bush - ladybug to collect nectar for her grandmother, mom was just happy! When Little Ladybug fell asleep in the evening, her mother carefully wiped off all the paint from her back and all her black spots became visible again.

The next day, Little Ladybug woke up very early and immediately ran to the mirror... Her happiness knew no bounds! Since then, Little Ladybug never forgot about what was asked of her, she always helped everyone, took care and did not get distracted from business, and she also realized that first you need to do what you promised, and then have fun.

A strong wind blew in the clearing all night, but by morning it had completely died down. The sun had just woken up and with its rays raised the little Ladybug sleeping on a green plantain leaf. The cow stretched sweetly, ran her paws over her antennae and crawled up to a drop of dew to wash herself.

- Oh, how beautiful I am! I have the reddest wings and the blackest antennae in this clearing! And my four black spots are even better! - this is what Ladybug said to herself, looking at her reflection in a drop of water. - Oh, what is this! - she exclaimed in fear. There were no more spots on her beautiful shiny red back! Ladybug cried loudly. What nonsense? That would be something to be upset about! - you might think, but, as you know, the main decoration for ladybugs is the spots on their wings. There is even a beauty contest held among them, where the one with the most round black spots on its back wins.

The Dragonfly flew in response to the cry, and, rustling with its transparent wings, sat down next to the cow on a plantain leaf.

- Well, why did you cry! - Dragonfly began to console Ladybug.

“I’ve lost my spots, now I’m ugly and ugly!” Ladybug explained to her, crying.

- Don't worry, we will find your spots! — The dragonfly felt sorry for the little cow, and she decided to help her.

Ladybug immediately stopped crying, believing that the spots could be found. They flew off the plantain and began to carefully examine the ground.

- Look, those spots on the mushroom aren’t yours? - asked Dragonfly, pointing to a red mushroom that stood next to the thick grass. And in fact, there were white spots on his hat.

- No, this is a fly agaric, it has its own spots - white, and my spots are black! — Ladybug sadly answered her friend and sobbed.

And they flew on.

- Oh, there are your spots, black! - Dragonfly pointed to a white butterfly that was sitting on a daisy flower.

- No, this is the Cabbage Butterfly, it has its own black spots! - Ladybug said in an even sadder voice.

The friends flew on, looking for the loss on the ground, grass and flowers. They flew around the entire clearing, but never found the lost spots. We got tired and sat down to rest on a leaf. Ladybug was very upset and had little faith that the spots would be found. But suddenly, her attention was attracted by the Spider, who was cleaning his web of debris.

- How much garbage this wind brings! — The spider ran along its web and pulled out various stuck debris from it. - Leaves, blades of grass, what is this? Some stains! - he continued to grumble.

- These are mine, my spots! - Ladybug screamed loudly. - My!

Even the joy of the discovery did not force Ladybug to come close to the web. She sat down on a flower that grew nearby and turned her back to the Spider.

- Look, there are no spots on my back! And I’m Ladybug, how can I be without spots!

- I don’t care, I don’t need trash in the web! - With these words, the Spider shook off the specks onto the ground.

- Thank you very much, dear Spider! — Ladybug deftly flew to the ground and picked up the fallen specks. I wish you to always keep your web clean. - She was very glad that the spots were found, and thanked the Spider warmly.

The spider muttered something unintelligible and continued his work.

- Specks, spots, these are my beautiful spots! — Ladybug drank happily, putting her found loss on her back. Her joy knew no bounds.

- Thank you, dear Dragonfly! - She thanked her friend, and, singing, flew around the clearing, showing everyone her beautiful black spots on her back.

The dragonfly looked after her with a smile, because all is well that ends well.

Ladybug Stones

This craft is very easy to do. You don’t need to have great artistic skills and talents to complete it, so even children can handle it with the help of their parents. Such a bug pebble can decorate a flower pot and simply become an element of interior decor.

For the craft you will need:

smooth oval-shaped pebbles acrylic paints: black, white, red, yellow, dark brown, burnt sienna, yellow ocher brushes: medium and small flat, small round, eyeliner (liner) pencil and sealing varnish Work progress:

1. Make a pencil sketch on the stone, as shown in the figure. Then we outline the contours with black paint using the tip of the brush.

2. Apply a base of white paint to the wings with a small flat brush. The next layers, already colored, will be much brighter from this.

3. Paint the body with some dark brown color (burnt umber works well) and with a lighter color (for example, burnt sienna) add a series of stripes on the brown body. Then highlight the center of each stripe with yellow ochre. Light and shadow are the most powerful tools for making the features of animals clear. The tonal contrast between dark and light areas enhances impact and adds realism to your entire work.

4. Paint the wings in bright colors. You can use orange, made by mixing red and yellow. Apply paint in two layers. Next, paint the black dots on the wings with a small round brush. Do not try to make them completely round; this does not happen in nature. Now you can paint the rest of the stone with black paint.

5. Draw the head (a small circle with white paint). Two white dots for the eyes and an oval for the mouth - that’s the whole face.

6. Now, using a white liner (or just brush No. 1), draw two hook-shaped antennae on both sides of the head. The picture shows where to paint the two extended wings with liner and white paint. Dissolve some white paint in water to create a transparent color. The lower wings that we are drawing now are so transparent that the ladybug's body can be seen through them. Paint the lower wings using a small round brush.

7. Use liner and white to draw veins on the clear wings. Now the ladybug is finished. Cover it with varnish to protect the stone. Change colors to create beetles to your liking.

If drawing still seems difficult to you, then try this simplified version:

Here are more examples of stone painting:

Now we will make a turtle out of stone.

And now the drawing is more complicated.

Ladybug. fairy tale for kids

One summer, a mother mouse sent her little daughter, a very pretty little gray Mouse with big green eyes and a long tail, to a clearing in the forest familiar to both of them to pick strawberries. Wow, this berry is so fragrant! Such deliciousness sent a spirit from the sunny meadow throughout the area as if from a candy factory. The nimble Little Mouse quickly collected a whole basket of berries and got ready to run home. Yes, I stared at some very interesting Strawberry, which was crawling from leaf to leaf. - What, Strawberry, can you walk? – she asked. - I'm not Strawberry. “I am Ladybug,” answered the unusual Strawberry. “And besides, I can still fly.” Then the mysterious Strawberry fluffed up her red and black-speckled wings and rose into the sky. “This is a bug, and not a strawberry at all,” explained the Caterpillar, sliding down from the leaf. - How beautiful you are, Ladybug! – the Mouse shouted, looking at the sky. - I want to be friends with you. Come and visit me! - Fine! I'll fly! Ju-ju-ju! - Ladybug answered and, buzzing loudly, like a large May beetle, flew off into the sky. The next morning, before the Mouse had time to open her eyes and get up from her bed, she again heard a loud buzzing near her hole. It was Ladybug calling her: “Zhu-zhu-zhu!” - she woke up the Mouse. - Get up, sleepyhead! Look, the sun is already high in the sky. - Hello! - the Mouse answered her, sticking out of the hole into the bright sunlight, first with her long tail, and only then with her nose and eyes. - Let's go to that strawberry field again. I'll pick more strawberries. She's so delicious! - suggested the Mouse. – There are many strawberry glades in our forest. I'll show you another one. There are also a lot of bright red ripe strawberries on it,” Ladybug suggested and led the Mouse in a completely different direction. The second strawberry meadow turned out to be even larger than the first and was completely strewn with delicious, fragrant strawberries. Having eaten enough and collected a full basket of berries for her mother, the Mouse, satisfied, ran home, having had time to play enough and talk a lot with the Ladybug. Ladybug told her about the sky, about the different bugs, flies, dragonflies, bees and even bumblebees that she met, flying in the sky like a real little bright red airplane with black speckles. “I don’t eat strawberries,” Ladybug explained, but I treat its leaves for aphids. - So you are a forest doctor! – the Mouse guessed. She was very pleased that she now had such an interesting friend.

Thematic lesson: Ladybug

Last summer we already started themed games with different insects. We had a butterfly and an ant. But I didn’t get around to finishing the tasks and playing with another wonderful insect - ladybug .
Back in the spring, these were the first insects that Dimka saw on the ground. There was an urgent need to finish what we started last year! And here is the result of our games. I hope you will like our materials and those I found on the Internet - there will be active links to them - and find them useful! We played for several days, and Dima chose the tasks himself - what he wanted most at that time. Therefore, we do not have a special sequence, but it is not the main thing. Choose what your baby will like the most. Dima was the first to pull out his favorite mathematical puzzles from stripes . I added up from 1 to 10 and from 11 to 20. We discussed what happened. Then I suggested trying to play numbers with flip cards . I already told you that I found it on the Internet. I really liked the idea. I have already implemented it in the Marine Mathematics tasks. I'll tell you how it went for us. I didn’t even expect that Dimka would play them with such ease and joy. And I must say he did a lot without any mistakes. At first I asked how many ladybugs are hiding under the question, if the total number is indicated. And then she invited him to answer and test himself. My math lover picked up the logic quickly and had fun playing with it. Although dad tried to suggest giving him tasks not sequentially. But I insisted that this was not an exam, and if the child understood the sequence, then on the contrary, that’s great!

We had different
tasks with clothespins First I remembered our ladybug from games with clothespins, and we made her legs from clothespins. Then the task is to find the same one out of three. The answer was also secured with a clothespin. Determine the number of ladybugs on the cards. These were also cards found on the Internet. But Dimka really liked them. I usually do not a lot of these types of tasks and within 10, but here there are a lot of cards, and even up to 20.

The strips with the task “Find the odd one out ” this time were more interesting in difficulty. The difference was not only in color and location, but also in size. Dima found them with joy and ease. A new task was geometric puzzles . At first, Dimka couldn’t find the halves. I tried to attach a square to a parallelogram, a pentagon to a hexagon. But when I made a couple of easy ones - a circle, a triangle - then it went easier - I understood the essence of the task. The following task is also interesting: arrange the ladybugs by size: large, medium and small. At first, Dimka couldn’t figure out from the pile of cards who was the biggest. And when I figured it out, I did it quickly and easily. We played together “ladybird” memory cards For a long time they could not remember and find the couples. But after the first two, things started to improve. And Dimka began to understand that he should not look at everything, but remember where everything was.

And here is the next new and very useful task, “Parts of a Ladybug.” Dima himself read and laid out the words - names that I had cut out in advance. Here we got both reading and biology - studying the structure of a ladybug. She took the simplest words, without going into the complexity of the structure of this insect. This time I didn’t even explain - he understood the essence himself and easily did everything correctly. And one more new product – the “ladybug development cycle” puzzle. I really liked this idea, so I decided to use it. Dima worked hard to collect it. They formed a circle and discussed what stages a ladybug appears in.

the connectors, wiring and labyrinth , quickly but correctly. We lay out buttons like a mosaic on circles with letters and pictures of a ladybug. Usually we did this with pebbles, but at the dacha we don’t have any, so buttons were used. It turned out very beautiful. Game "Ladybugs". It comes with a special dodecahedron, game rules and a playing field. And the chips were still the same stones or maybe buttons, but in two colors. We rolled our dodecahedron cube and placed the pebbles on the field one by one. Another new task is to put each ladybug in its leaf house . There are dots on ladybugs - how many dots there are, how old she is. And on the house-leaves there are numbers. Dimka liked the task, especially the idea that if he calculates incorrectly, the ladybug will be left without a house!

Creative tasks. Kinder surprise packaging makes a very good ladybug. Using acrylic red paint, we first paint the body - the base, and then paint the head, stripes and spots with black paint. It’s not very difficult and it turns out nice. WE made two cows at once - one for Jim, the other for me. And for the second craft there are basic materials. I cut out the body myself from black cardboard. The eyes can be glued ready-made or made from white and black paper. It is better to cut out circles from red double-sided paper. Black dots made from black paper. Dima cut out large and small circles. Although they were small, I then cut them out myself - there was no way he could make them so small. Fold the red wing parts and glue one side to the body. You can cut out several circles and attach them with a stapler.

I would like to say that on the page “Mamadelki” in contact, I have collected all thematic kits with active links - you can go in and choose what you like. And on this page I collect not only my tasks, but also what I like that I found on the Internet, so I invite you to join. On the right side of the page you can go in and register to keep track of all the new products.
