Most of all I like to play snowballs with friends and go sledding. During the holidays, we go outside together every day and immediately start playing. That’s when the real “battle” begins—a “snowball fight.” Then we go sledding: we find the best sledding hill not far from our yard and start going down from it. Sometimes someone may bring skis from home. Then all of us, fascinated by these “winter shoes,” take turns trying to skillfully walk at least a few steps.

On weekends my parents and I go to the skating rink. There we begin our family “marathon”: who can skate faster? Of course, dad always wins, because he is the strongest and most agile of all of us.

The sight of dancing snowflakes brought the girl into inexplicable delight and she really wanted to go outside.

Calling Nadya and inviting her with her, the girl quickly got dressed and ran out of the house. The yard was like one big snowdrift, and the snow kept falling and falling. Nadya suggested building a snowman. Karinka did not need to be persuaded, she quickly agreed and soon rolled out a large ball. At the same time, Nadya rolled a huge ball. The girls placed them on top of each other in size - first a larger ball, and then a smaller one; the small ball for the head was missing. It was sculpted by a dad and his baby...

Having seen and guessed what the girls were doing, they willingly decided to help them. The girls found twigs and made hands for the snowman. Dad went home and brought coals, as well as a large orange carrot. Karina inserted coals instead of eyes. Nadya, using paints brought from home, painted a mouth. Ah, David, that’s the boy’s name, he stuck a carrot in place of his nose. The snowman turned out great. He stood in the middle of the yard and smiled at everyone with his friendly smile.

While they were playing and making a snowman, quite a lot of time passed, lunch time imperceptibly approached, and the grandmother called the girls home, where hot tea and a delicious grandmother’s pie with jam were waiting for them. After having a snack, the girls decided to go to the cinema.

And in the evening, returning from the club, the friends were surprised to see that their snowman had a friend - the neighbor kids did their best. Someone took care that the snowmen were cold and put hats on them (buckets, and instead of scarves, they tied bright scraps of some kind of fabric.
