Text of the book “Applique with children 3-4 years old. Class notes"

The benefits of applications

Many parents postpone appliqué lessons until a later age, believing that it is too early for a one-year-old baby. But that's not true.

While practicing appliqué, the child:

  • develops fine motor skills,
  • improves hand coordination;
  • gains new sensory experiences;
  • gets acquainted with the surrounding world;
  • develops speech (while playing out the plot and discussing what you are doing);
  • activates imagination and creativity.

This is exactly what needs to be intensively developed at an early age.
