Competition “My Pedagogical Initiative” – Stage 2
This development is intended for working with children of a preparatory group for school with general speech underdevelopment of the third level and was developed on the basis of teaching methods for children with developmental disabilities R.I. Lalaeva, N.V. Serebryakova, 1999; L.V. Lopatina, N.V. Serebryakova, 2001; L.R. Lizunova, 2003; program “Education and training of children with general speech underdevelopment” T.B. Filicheva, T.V. Tumanova; "Rainbow" program T.N. Doronova et al. and is a test lesson.
The practical value and correctional pedagogical significance of this lesson lies in the fact that it:
- ensures the unity of cognitive, creative and activity-practical components of the content of correctional education,
- stimulates speech and thinking activity,
- develops the child in relation to himself,
- has an accessible form of identifying children’s assimilation of program material,
- provides the opportunity to individualize the corrective impact on the child,
- allows you to involve parents in correctional work with children.
Methodological development involves the use of technology for organizing collective, creative activities, computer technology and the involvement of parents in the correctional process, which ensures novelty and originality .
The lesson is structured in the form of children performing a variety of game exercises and tasks presented by a speech therapist using classical techniques and modern technical teaching aids (multimedia), which takes into account the leading type of activity (game) and the visual-figurative nature of the preschool child’s perception - all this increases the effectiveness of the lesson .
The methodological development was tested in work with children of a preparatory group for school with general speech underdevelopment of the third level in the conditions of a speech center and made it possible to unite all participants in the correctional educational process.
Thanks to an attractive and age-appropriate game form of conducting the lesson, using correctional pedagogical methods, techniques and computer technology, I was able to show parents the level of children’s assimilation of program material, and instill in children practical confidence in using corrected speech.
